Tony Lin is a director who oversees the strategic positioning, follow-on investment and overall business performance of One Wilshire on behalf of GI Partners and its investors.
Tony was formerly with MacFarlane Partners in San Francisco, where he managed a $3 billion portfolio of infill redevelopment assets in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he worked for AMB Property Corporation in San Francisco, where he managed the company's Bay Area portfolio and started AMB's Value Added Conversion platform. Early in his career, Tony worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York.
Tony earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College and Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
David Waller oversees the strategic positioning, follow-on investment and overall business performance of One Wilshire on behalf of GI Partners and its investors. Formerly with The Carlyle Group in Washington, DC, David worked on funds investing in real estate throughout the United States and Western Europe. Earlier in his career, he worked with Riverstone Holdings, a New York based private equity firm focused on investments in the global energy industry.
David earned his Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction from The University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Kevin McInerny is the General Manager responsible for all day-to-day operations of One Wilshire. Kevin provides leadership in critical infrastructure management, budgeting, capital planning and execution, lease administration and maintaining customer relationships. He has been involved with the One Wilshire building since 2007.
As a member of the Hines real estate investment team since 1997, Kevin has worked in several capacities, including responsibilities for facility operations of more than 3.5 million square feet of commercial real estate.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Colorado.
Thomas Chien is the Assistant Property Manager for the One Wilshire Building where he is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the building. Thomas is responsible for assisting with administration of service contracts, rooftop management and leasing, parking and tenant relations as well as monthly/quarterly reporting to ownership and annual planning/budgeting.
Since joining Hines in 2014, Thomas has been involved in the management of over 600,000 square feet of commercial office space in Los Angeles for an institutionally-owned real estate venture. Previously, he provided business development, marketing and financing expertise for 500,000 square feet of commercial space representing Newmark Grubb Knight Frank in its Capital Markets group in Downtown Los Angeles.
Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Policy, Management and Planning from the University of Southern California.
Jim Krachmer is the General Engineering Manager of the One Wilshire Data Center and Office building operations. Jim also oversees facility operations for the Hines portfolio covering the greater Greater Los Angeles area.
Since the beginning of his career in 1974, and joining with Hines in 1992 at the AT& T Center, Mr. Krachmer has been responsible for facility operations of more than 4 million square feet of commercial real estate and contributes as the Engineering Due Diligence team member for Hines acquisitions and partnerships.
Jim earned his Associate of Science, HVAC/Mechanical Engineering degree from Cypress College. He also earned a certificate in Facility Management/Plant Engineering
from the University of California, Riverside.
Alexander C. Smith is Executive Vice President of Cushman & Wakefield and is a national executive representative for One Wilshire. Alex works closely with mission critical clients on site selection, advisory and transactional work.
He joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2000 and was immediately drawn into work servicing the telecommunications boom by representing tenants in the acquisition of mission critical data centers and telecom facilities. In 2011 and 2013 Alex was the top producing broker in Chicago and the Midwest for Cushman & Wakefield, including ranking 11th in the entire company.
Alex earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Iowa.
